From a price list PDF or Excel file to a calculator
The file you already get from a supplier is the source. Glasstally reads the grids in it, you check them, and a calculator uses those cells.
Free: upload and review 1 price list. Publishing needs a Founder or Standard plan.
Files that work
- Excel: .xlsx or .xlsm. The old .xls format is not accepted.
- PDF: a text-based PDF, checked by you one grid at a time. Text you can select works best.
- Size limit: 50 MB.
- Scans and photos are not supported. If you cannot select the text, ask for the Excel file.
Excel is read from the cells in the app, with no AI provider. A PDF is sent to Groq only to read the list, and only when that reader is allowed to run. If it is not, the file stays stored and is not sent. Groq’s terms, as stated on our privacy notice, say your files are not used to train models under its Data Processing Addendum. The check before publish
You see anything the read is unsure of, and you confirm the size unit (millimetres, centimetres, or inches). A held cell blocks publishing until you resolve it. Cells that say POA, P.O.A., n/a, on request, or that are blank, can be kept as Price on request. Customers then see that phrase and no amount.

A paid plan is Founder: £117 + VAT every 3 months (£39 a month), locked while you stay subscribed. 20 seats. Or Standard: £59/mo + VAT. Both include up to 10 price lists and 3 calculators.
When the supplier sends a new list
Upload the new file and compare old against new. Nothing in that update goes live until you approve it. Earlier versions are kept. Put the calculator on your site
