A blinds quote calculator from your own price list
Glasstally reads the price grid in a supplier file and puts a calculator on your website. The price a customer sees starts from a cell in that file.

You upload an Excel file (.xlsx or .xlsm) or a PDF, up to 50 MB. Text-based PDFs work best. You check a PDF one grid at a time before it goes live. Scans and photos are not supported. If you cannot select the text in the PDF, ask your supplier for the Excel file.
Excel is read in the app. A PDF is sent to be read only when that reader is allowed to run. Until then the file stays stored and is not sent. The privacy notice says who that reader is. Privacy notice
What you check before a price is public
Anything the read is unsure of is held for you. A list cannot be published while one of those cells is still unresolved. Nothing goes live until you publish it. We do not quote an accuracy figure.
You confirm the size unit first: millimetres, centimetres, or inches. Customers type sizes in that unit. A size that falls between two bands is priced at the next band up. How the bands work
Markup, tax, and the two calculator modes
You set a markup multiplier or a margin, as a default or per fabric group. Customer prices can then be rounded to the nearest 1 of your currency, up to the next 0.50, to an amount that ends in .95, or left unrounded.
Each calculator is Instant price or Price guide. Instant price shows the price, then a request to order or get a quote. Price guide shows an estimate, confirmed after measuring, and a Book a measure button.
You can turn on a PDF quote by email on any calculator, Instant price or Price guide. The customer’s details also arrive by email and in your leads list. You can export those leads as CSV.
The style name customers see is Roller blind or Vertical blind. That is the product type on the calculator. Shop currency is USD, CAD, EUR, or GBP. US, UK, and Canada tax
